In Pokemon Go, CP (combat power) is basically the most important thing which determine how strong your pokemon is. But we also must know that every pokemon in Pokemon Go have different CP multiplier, for example magikarp who has CP around 100-200 could evolve into a gyarados who have more that 1000 CP.
